Custom Deck Construction

We build ground-level and elevated decks in pressure-treated lumber, cedar, and composite decking. Whether you want a simple platform off the back door or a multi-level structure with built-in seating, we plan it out before the first board goes down.

The South Okanagan climate is genuinely extreme for wood construction. Summer temperatures regularly exceed 38 degrees Celsius. Winter temperatures drop below minus 15. That 50-plus degree swing causes wood to expand and contract significantly, which is why decks built without the right materials and methods start to fail within three to five years.
We have built enough outdoor structures in this valley to know exactly where they break down and why. The way boards are spaced, the way water is managed, and the quality of materials chosen at the start of a project determine whether a deck looks great at year ten or starts showing problems at year three.
